Urgent Help for Jessica's Cat Elliot's Surgery
Donativo protegido
I made this page to help my sister with emergency vet costs. She has been dealing with a lot lately and was supposed to start a new job this week, but unforeseen circumstances from HR took that opportunity away from her last minute.
Her 4-year-old cat, Elliot, became deathly ill on Tuesday. He was non-stop vomiting, would not eat or drink, became lethargic and wouldn't move. The local vet treated him with some nausea medication and said if the vomiting continues and doesn't get better, he might have a bowel obstruction. Fast forward a couple of days and Elliot wasn't improving. Friday afternoon, Elliot started vomiting again. My sister, Jessica, took him to the emergency vet in Allentown, where Elliot was examined and observed overnight. The vet did some X-rays which showed suspicion for a partial obstruction. The X-ray was repeated in the morning which did confirm a bowel obstruction and Elliot needed emergency surgery or he would not make it. As pet lovers, we all know how important our animals are to us and our family. We also know the stress that comes with owning/caring for our pets when emergencies happen. If you have it in your heart to help my sister with anything you can, we would forever be grateful. Thank you for considering.
