Urgent Help for Kendra Smith's Son's Recovery

My name is Kendra Smith. I'm a single mom taking care of my youngest son, and my niece and nephew. I work 7 days a week and saved enough money to move all of us out of a one-bedroom apartment to a nice 2-bedroom apartment. We got the keys on July 5th.

My son Christopher fell sick on July 7 with swimmer's ear, followed by a horrible migraine that lasted 5 days. After a few ER visits, he was admitted to the hospital and had brain surgery 3 days later. They said he had an extremely rare sinus infection that spread to his brain and caused a cellulitis abscess behind his eye. They weren't even sure he was going to make it; his condition was very serious. The infection was aggressive and destroyed his cranial bone. Treatment is aggressive as well, with drainage tubes coming out of his head in order to do painful irrigation twice a day - agony for him. He's on very strong antibiotics and has a PICC line for 6 weeks of heavy antibiotics which his insurance doesn't cover all of it Christopher is such a sweet boy; he offered me his hospital bed so I didn't have to sleep on an uncomfortable couch/cot he's super sweet and has so much faith in God he actually reminds me to be strong and trust God.

I have not been able to work in 2 weeks. I need to work every day to just keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Missing one day throws my whole system off track and I've missed 14. I owe everything to God for being the eyes, hands, and hearts of all the surgeons and medical team for letting us see another day. I'm just hoping to raise enough money to pay our rent and electric bill and his home health /medications until I can get back to work.
