Urgent Help for Mercer and Naughtia's Flood Recovery

My name is Mistress Michelle Lacy. This morning I received some horrible news. Mistress Mercer and her wife Naughtia have lost their home, workshops, vehicles, materials, tools, and more in what was the most extreme flooding to have ever hit their area from this recent hurricane.

Mistress Mercer and her wife Naughtia are valuable members of our femdom community. They are not only great human beings, but also talented toy and furniture makers, offering the industry a customization of dungeon furniture and toys, which has never been done before. They also have been sex-worker positive/supportive, Mistress Mercer a current pro herself, working hard to come up in the pro domme world. They have been there for me, saving my butt, with repairs (Naughtia is a contractor), some which nobody could figure out, and flat-out saved my home. The honesty, problem solving skills, and hard work when everyone else gave up or tried to lie and overcharge me, is a rare and beautiful occurrence in today's world. They have so done much, for so many.

At their home near Ashville, they prepared for 2 days in advance for this rain and what was predicted to be, bad flooding. They moved all of their personal items, and work items, to higher ground. Knowing about the possibility of flooding into their basement, andthe possibility of the water making its way up to their multiple on-site workshops, they stayed vigilant and took everything that they possibly could out of harms way, working themselves to exhaustion. Going by the data from past recorded, most severe storms and flooding, as well as predictions from their local area, they had sprung into action, protecting their belongings, ready for at worst, a couple of feet of water in their basement, and wet floors in their workshops. At first it looked like they were going to get through it, as they quickly worked, using buckets to empty water that slowly crept into their basement. Within just 2 hours, their house, vehicles, workshops and all of their belongings, were underneath a rapidly rising, raging river of water, as they were in shock and had to get themselves to safety. This was well beyond the worst and most legendary flooding the area has ever seen in history, by far, and well beyond the scope of what the local news warned of. Their truck, underwater. Flooding of this nature causes sewage leaks, and in their case, destruction of their gas, which would have exploded from a fire happening had the electric not gone out.

Belongings of theirs washed many blocks away. A very old boat they dreamed of restoring someday (a huge important dream of theirs), in a neighbors yard. Personal items, important documents, gone. Mercer's entire massive collection of leathers and exotic woods for her business, many feet underneath the water/sewage combo. All of her personal BDSM toys, gear, and dungeon, gone. Her and Naughtia's tools for welding, auto mechanics, and many other small businesses that they have, gone, including custom machinery they had to build themselves in order to create the things that they make.

They not only lost their home, which will need to be torn down, their personal items, but they also lost everything that helps them both earn a living. They are without power, as power lines are down all over the area.

For now, they are trying to make sense of it all, and they will be seeking temporary refuge with a nearby family member. Again, their home is now a tear-down.

They do have flood insurance, but they will never recover much of what they lost via their insurance, and they will be out of work for ages until things can be slowly, at a snails pace, be replaced.

For now, they need to survive. They need groceries, clothes, and just the ability to LIVE and thrive, while mourning everything that just befell them. They need to buy tools NOW and other items, to try hard to somehow continue to work and live.

I do want to mention that they are not the only 2 people in the home, they also have partners who live there as well, and this happened to a group of people, their family.

These are rare and wonderful human beings and we are better not only as a kink community that they are here with us, but the world is a better place in general because of their presence.

They will be sending photos of the destruction, which I will slowly add to this page, a little at a time, so you can all see what has befell them. Right now, they barely have any signal, are in complete shock, and in problem-solving mode, and later I am positive, they will need time to grieve their tragedy.
