Urgent Help for Natera Family Tragedy

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,

My name is Sarah Gaton Molina, and together with my husband, Luis Manuel Garcia, we are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support in the face of an unimaginable tragedy that has deeply affected our dear friends, Jonathan and Angelica Natera.

On April 7, 2025, Jonathan and Angelica were victims of a horrific accident when the roof of a venue unexpectedly collapsed on them. While we are still holding on to hope with all our strength, Angelica’s whereabouts remain unknown. We can only pray for her safety and that she is found soon. Jonathan, meanwhile, is fighting for his life in the hospital. He has undergone multiple surgeries but remains unconscious and in critical condition.

Jonathan and Angelica are not just victims of a terrible accident—they are loving parents to three young children, whose world has been completely turned upside down in an instant. Now more than ever, those children need their parents, and we must do everything we can to give them the support and love that Jonathan and Angelica would have given them if the roles were reversed.

This tragedy hits especially close to home. Jonathan and I have been childhood friends for nearly 30 years. We grew up together, went through school side by side, and have kept a close and strong friendship throughout the years despite the passing of time and geographic distance. Jonathan was even a signing witness at my wedding to Luis—a small but powerful reflection of the deep bond we’ve shared. He is much more than a friend; he is family.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the medical expenses for Jonathan’s ongoing care, as well as to provide financial support for their children during this uncertain time. There are so many things we simply don’t know how to face—how to navigate the unknown, how to help them emotionally, or how to fill the void this tragedy has left. But we do know one thing: they need our help, and that’s why we’re turning to you—because right now, it’s the only thing we can do.
