Urgent Help for Our Dad's Treatment

Hi everyone,

My sister and I are reaching out for support to save my dad, who was diagnosed with an aggressive type of lymphoma earlier this year. He recently retired and has a very small pension, no medical insurance, and no way of paying his medical bills.

For the past three months, my sister and I have supported my dad economically and covered all the costs of his doctors' appointments, medications and treatment, but we cannot sustain this much longer. He still needs another 5 rounds of chemotherapy, costing approximately $500 each, with a $200 post-chemo treatment right after each session. Also, given all the blood work he will need during chemo, an external catheter will be installed in his chest to protect the veins in his arms, which will cost several thousand more for the installation and check-up appointments.

To take care of him during the treatment, I took unpaid family medical leave as he had no one else to be there for him, while my sister continued to work to help pay the medical bills. Unfortunately, we cannot keep up with the costs.

To cover what is left of the treatment and any unexpected hospital emergencies (lung drainage, etc.), we have a donation goal of $10,000.
