Urgent Help for Robin's (Robie's) Home and Cancer Crisis

In my seventy years, asking for help isn't something I'm familiar with doing. It is at the repeated urging of my siblings and life-partner of forty-plus years that I ask for this help. I don't wish to lose my home or my life and both are currently strong possibilities at this point.

A recent storm has left me no choice, along with a health crisis that began two weeks ago. I have lived in the same home in Gulfport, Fl. for thirty-five years now. I've applied to FEMA but was denied, twice. They promised to send inspectors out twice, but no one showed. They say they are running short on funds due to the amount of devastation in our town which is terrible. Damage to my home includes roof leaks from where the garage roof separated from the house due to unbelievable winds during the storm. Over 200' of privacy fencing was blown over and split. Our above ground pool was destroyed, among other items. The worst damage is that we have had no sewer line/service since Oct. 13th. Water pumps were closed so the water supplies wouldn't be contaminated. When the pumps were re-opened days later, pressure had built, and our pipes backed up into our tub, shower, toilet, and sinks, making their uses inoperable since that time and cracking the pipes. It cost $384.00 for a licensed plumber to diagnose it and the least expensive estimate/cost for that repair, alone, is $7400.00 which we do not have.

As if that damage wasn't enough, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer two weeks ago yesterday. (Oct. 31st.) Deductibles and co-pays for CTs, PET scans and an MRI of the brain are horrendous. Radiation and chemo begin Tues, the 19th of Nov. (5 days a week for 6 weeks) followed by Immunotherapy. Between mold already showing throughout the garage, a co-pay of $3400.00 is due by Monday prior to treatment beginning the following day.

I need financial help ASAP, please! I've worked hard all of my life and am not frivolous, living soley from my social security. What savings we had is already depleted. Any help with these mounting costs is a true blessing, along with your support and prayers. Thank you.
