Urgent Help for Rod's Housing Crisis

My name is Rod Brombacher. I am being evicted from the house I have rented for the last 10 years. The Landlord has been evicting many of his rentals as he is selling his properties. He will not accept any rent money. So I have to move. The place is not up to code but I like the little place we're I have lived for a decade. But it is certain I have to leave unexpectedly and without much warning.

I am 64 yr old disabled man with diabetes. I get monthly Social Disability checks which allow me to scrape by. I don't even own a car.

The cost for moving based on a $1000 per month rent is $2000 plus for first and security deposit plus an additional Pet deposit for my 3 elderly cats. To turn on my electric i need a $450+ for deposit and water will be a $400 deposit. I need to hire a moving company for 450 dollars. I can rent a storage unit and move stuff preemptively before I have to move under the gun. I was homeless 11 years ago and I really would have a very difficult time being homeless at my age. And that would mean I would lose my two 16 yr old cats and my 9 yr kitty.

Thus I need your help. I will use the money to move and get established once I find a place. I live in rural Western North Carolina where things are hard to get to without a vehicle. I realize that you have your own problems but I have nothing to fall back on given such short notice.

Please consider any donation as every dollar will help. I am desperate and did not know where to turn. I have exhausted charities and Government programs which are nonexistent or unfunded. Hence I need some assistance.

I have a goal of $5000 which will allow me to find and rent an affordable house, pay utilities deposits and moving expenses.

Please, I need your help. Again, any small amount would be greatly appreciated.
