Urgent Help for Shawn Tippett and Family

Calling all of our extended Minuteman Mustang family and friends who know our good buddy Shawn Tippett. My name is John Moore (Class of 85) and we have a friend, Shawn Tippett (Class of 86), who is in dire straits financially from years of taking care of others financially such as his brother Wayne Tippett and his mom Judy who both lost their battles to cancer. Unfortunately for Shawn, his wife, and mother-in-law, they have lost the home they have lived in for years due to an excessive increase in his lease coinciding with all of their health battles.

Shawn unfortunately had some recent health scares himself going back to June 2023 with a stroke and then a heart attack in September of 2023. He is doing well now physically but after trying to recover financially for years, his own health scare issues set him and his family back even further. He has maintained 2 jobs most of his adult life to care for others in his family.

Presently Shawn, his wife, and mother-in-law are experiencing homelessness and staying in a local hotel since July 1st which has drained all of their financial resources. Times are very tough right now for everyone in today's economy, inflation, etc., but time is of the essence for Shawn and his family. They are all living day to day, penny to penny. I'm hoping even during these tough times for all of us, we can lend a hand to pick up our buddy. Anything we can do is a blessing.

Myself and Scott Lambrinos (Class of 85) met with him last evening and he is beyond embarrassed as any of us would be to even ask for a helping hand. Nobody should have to worry where they will be day to day so that's why a few of us that know him, love him and grew up with him are trying to help out. Thank you for your time.
