Urgent Help for Tabitha's Family Displaced by Fire

My name is Sami. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Tabitha, who is a close family friend to us.

Yesterday, 1/4/24, around 3:30 pm, Tabby's duplex caught fire (her neighbor's side had a faulty electrical outlet that caught fire). Tabby is a single mom of 3 kids who now has been displaced with no home, no belongings, in the middle of a blizzard and ice storm. They came running to my home crying with no coats, no shoes, just the clothes on their backs. They weren't able to grab anything.

The fire chief said her home is uninhabitable. Her belongings are severely smoke-damaged and water-damaged. The fire chief said she would have to hire a cleaning crew to get the smoke damage out of her belongings, which is VERY expensive and just not feasible.

She is not one to ever ask for help and has a hard time putting her pride aside and accepting help, but she needs help rebuilding her life for her and her children. She needs necessities for her babies.
