Subject: Urgent Help Needed for My Family

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for our/my parents . My dad, Thomas Peter’s, a proud U.S. Marine veteran, is still recovering from a brain bleed, living with dementia, and now relies 100% on a pacemaker for his heart. He is currently at the ER again for possibly another brain bleed. My mom Zelda Peters has been his full-time caregiver while also struggling with her own serious health issues, including needing a hip replacement due to an injury that has left tears in the ligaments, muscle and has left her wheelchair-bound and awaiting surgery.

Due to these circumstances, my mom hasn’t been able to work since September 12. Her FMLA has ended, her short-term disability isn’t enough to cover all the bills, groceries and necessities, and she is no longer receiving pay due to loosing her job over all of this. Her short term disability is going to eventually run out. They are now facing mounting bills and struggling to cover even basic necessities like food and utilities. Ray and myself are going to be helping as much as we can but we also have our own household to take care of and our own bills.

We’re humbly asking for any support you can offer to help my parents get through this challenging time. No amount is too small, and every contribution will go directly toward covering essential expenses.
