Urgent Help for Virginia's Leukemia Battle

Update on Moms treatment for the reoccurrence of her Acute myeloid leukemia.

She is no longer allowed to drive herself until further notice.

Right now, her Dr is trying to get her back into a bone marrow transplant center, UAB, or Mayo being the plan.

The original trial meds she was on with her original diagnosis had held her remission/maintenance for the last 2 & 1/2 years. By the grace of God..... the cancer is the same mutation, so he has her back on that trial drug again, along with chemo every 5 weeks, infusions of blood and platelets as often as needed.

Even with insurance, not all medications and medical expenses are covered.

She is no longer allowed to drive, so rides from friends, family, and Uber are her means to get to and from her appointments are her transportation.

This, as we all know, will take time, and Gods plan and will. Returning to work will not be possible for at least a few months.

As humans, we all worry about things not so important until we realize just how precious life is.
