Urgent Help for Widow and Kids After House Fire
Donation protected
On July 20, a fire ripped through the home of Corey Lyons Marsden, a single mother of two young daughters, ages 10 and 9. Tragically, this fire comes just four years after she lost her husband, leaving her to raise her daughters alone.
Corey is the daughter of John E. Lyons, a well-known resident of Woburn and Melrose, Massachusetts. She has dedicated her life to her family and her work as a postal worker at the Winchester Post Office. Now, facing the aftermath of this fire, she has lost everything - their home, their belongings, and a sense of security.
We are raising funds to help Corey and her daughters get back on their feet. These funds will be used for:
- Obtaining a safe and secure living space.
- Replacing essential clothing and personal items for Corey and her daughters.
- Furnishing a new home with the basic necessities.
- School supplies for the girls.
- Covering any unexpected costs associated with the fire.
No amount is too small, and every donation will bring Corey and her daughters one step closer to rebuilding their lives. Please consider giving what you can to help this deserving family during their most difficult time.
In addition to donations, we are also accepting gift cards to major retailers for clothing, furniture, and household goods. Together, we can show Corey and her daughters that they are not alone.
Please share this GoFundMe link with your friends and family to help us reach our goal!
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
