URGENT: Help Get Makayla Out of Florida!

Let me introduce you to my best friend...

Anyone who knows Makayla Watson (in person or through her social media presence) knows she is a special person.

You may also be aware that she HATES asking for help.

Here is the situation:

She is Queer and Trans and living in Florida.

She has been trying to save enough to flee the state, but is finding it impossible to get ahead.

She is working 60 hrs a week, actively searching for a new job, and living as budgeted as possible in her day to day life. Still, she finds herself farther and farther behind.

She will not be able to get out without Mutual Aid. She needs our help.

Politics in Florida are rapidly becoming more extreme, leaving us with very little time- she needs to act now.

Her safety is at risk.

Please, if you can spare something, let's get her set up with what she needs to break her lease, pay the costs of moving, float 3 months of living expenses, and pay for car repairs, so she can get on her feet somewhere safe.

If we exceed our goal, she will be able to replenish her savings that will go toward gender-affirming surgery- a savings account that has been depleted time and time again for survival costs.
