Urgent Help: Get This Family To Safety

WHO I AM:

My name is Phoenix.

That's not my real name.

I'm forced to do this in secret, ask strangers to help with nothing more than my trusted friends' assurances that this is real, and we need help.

WHAT HAPPENED:

Several of my younger children fell victim to multiple violent and sexual assaults. My partner and I fled with all six of our children, alerted the authorities, and are seeking help from every state, county, and local resource.

Some of the monsters who hurt my children have been caught and will be held until trial.

However, the perpetrators who weren't caught are attempting to scare and harm my partner and me into dropping charges, and the we have had to flee our home, jobs, schools, and local community in order to stay safe.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO HELP OURSELVES:

We need to sell our home and cars. The authorities have suggested that they are no longer safe to keep while we await trial. We have been advised to keep the children out of school this year, because it would be too easy for the perpetrators' accomplices and families to locate them. While we wish we could take them all and run as far away as possible, we are also advised not to leave the state until investigation is concluded and trial date is set.

We are doing everything the authorities recommend.

The children need specialized trauma care that is not covered by Medicaid. In addition, one of us parents is having a medical crisis brought on by the stress and will need to be hospitalized, increasing the need for immediately available funds.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

The situation is a crisis level ask.
