URGENT: Help me and my family escape from Gaza to safety

My name is Moheen Yousef and I'm reaching out to you with an urgent plea. I need your help to save me and my young family who are trapped in Rafah, Gaza.

I have a wife named Mariam and four beautiful children: Mohamed, Deema, Batool and Siwar. We had a home in northwest Gaza before October 7th -- an apartment that I worked my whole life to buy and which was located in the Intelligence Towers. Israel's bombings destroyed my home and that of my neighbours and community completely. Our memories and dreams have been buried in the rubble.

We were forced to flee to Rafah, where we've been desperately struggling to find food, water and shelter in some of the most horrifying conditions on the planet. My sister lives in Canada and my dream is to escape with my young family to Egypt and reunite with her.

In order to leave Gaza, it costs $5000 USD per adult (around $6,800 CAD), plus $2,500 USD per child (around $3,400 CAD). Anything more raised will go toward keeping us sheltered and fed in Egypt, where I hope we can begin to establish a new life for my children free of death and starvation.

My sister in Canada is collecting and managing the funds. She will ensure the money is sent by wire transfer and received by me.
