Please Help! Harley Needs A CAT Scan!!

Donation protected
Let me start by saying thank you for everyone that has donated to Harley already. The $1790 that shows has already been collected was for her surgery, it is gone. It has been almost 2 months since Harley's surgery. She had her bile acids blood work taken last Friday and her numbers have not changed. It sucks so much to have to write this post and to have to ask for help, but I know there are good people out there that have come to follow Harley's journey and that love her as much as I do. The next step would be to get a CAT scan to see what is going on. It could be several different things according tot he surgeon. The ring could have not closed completely around the shunt (best case scenario), she may have other shunts (worse case scenario). I have already decided on treatment for Harley for both scenarios, but I have to get the CAT scan done to make the best choice for her. The CAT scan is $2100. I appreciate any help that anyone can offer and if you can't donate, please share. It really does mean the world to Harley, Luna and I. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Steph, and I would like you to meet my sweet puppy, Harley. Harley has some serious life-threatening health issues, and so I am humbly asking you to help me save her life.

4 months ago, I found this sweet girl in Maryland. I made the trip down to bring her home to meet her older sister, Luna. Her and Luna instantly bonded, but something wasn't quite right. She was exhibiting signs of what we thought was a UTI, and was very lethargic. I took her to the vet, and I was told she didn't have UTI, and they didn't know what was wrong with her. She couldn't keep anything in her system when she ate, so they ran more tests for Parvo, and other GI conditions. They treated her and we thought she was getting better, but something was still wrong. She wasn't acting like a puppy and had no energy. I took her back to the vet and they tested her Adison's disease and took more bloodwork. They found that she has fluid in her abdomen, kidney stones, a small liver, large kidneys, and some other issues presenting. The bloodwork came back and showed elevated protein and electrolyte levels, so it was determined she has a liver shunt. They believe this is causing all of the other issues, and with the surgery they will go away.

After all of these vet visits, I am $4000 in debt and cannot afford the emergency surgery. I found a vet in Philly who is willing to do the surgery as a discounted price, but I will still need to come up with $10,000 for the surgery and aftercare.

If Harley does not receive this surgery very soon, she will die. To be very honest, she is suffering and has no quality of life. If I cannot raise enough money for her to have the surgery immediately, I will have to put Harley to sleep. If your donation isn't used towards the surgery, it will be used to help Harley cross the Rainbow Bridge in peace, so please know your donation will help her in one way or another to find comfort.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated already. May your generosity come back to you 2-fold!
