Urgent Help Needed: Edroy's Final Journey

6:15 p.m. Friday, November 29th, 2024, officers responded to the area of 52nd Street and McDowell Road for a motorcycle crash involving a pedestrian.

When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 36-year-old Edroy McCormick III, lying on the ground with serious injuries. Edroy McCormick was rushed to a hospital where he died.

He will leave behind one ten-year-old son, one sister, and three brothers. We will be shipping his body back to our hometown in Akron, Ohio. We will need help from all family and friends to get him home to be laid to rest…
