Urgent help needed for Funston, Amy, & Family
Donation protected
Funston Gambrell, Amy Jones, and their family have lost their home and are in urgent need of help. On Christmas day, while Funston , Amy, and their three kids were away celebrating with relatives, the pipes for the fire suppression sprinkler system in their apartment building burst, flooding their apartment and several others in their building. Much of their furniture was destroyed, along with many of their belongings, and the apartment itself is no longer livable. They have been told by management that they must be completely moved out by this Friday, December 30. Unfortunately, due to their limited income, they were unable to afford renter's insurance, so they have no financial recourse and no savings to pull from for new housing. In order to secure another apartment, they will need funds to cover the first and last month's rent, along with a security deposit and replacement furniture for their family of five. The kids, Connor (17), Micaela (13), and Jackson (11) return to school on January 4, so time is of the essence to get them re-settled as they return to their routines. Please consider donating to help Funston and Amy provide shelter and stability to their family.
Assistance with meals/fuel would also be gratefully accepted.
On behalf of Funston, Amy, Connor, Micaela, and Jackson, thank you for your generosity!
