Urgent Help Needed for Local Family After Devastating Fire

I’m reaching out to the community on behalf of some dear friends who are more like family, Samantha and Maggen Thorne, who are New Smyrna Beach locals.

Last night, their home was destroyed in a devastating fire. Thankfully, they all made it out safely, but tragically, their dog and cat did not survive.

The fire wiped out everything they owned, including their vehicle that was parked near the house. They are now left with nothing and urgently need assistance. Maggen and Samantha, Sam’s three young children, and her elderly mother Penny Horton have nowhere to go.

They are in immediate need of:

* Clothing

* Food

* Financial support

* Temporary housing
