Urgent Help Needed for New Laptop

Hi all,

I hate to do this so close to the holidays, but for reasons I can't fathom, my laptop is broken. The screen is not only totally destabilized from the base, it's also cracked open. Due to the nature of writing, especially since I'm in the middle of edits on a few pieces, the time it'll take for any hopes of repair is too long (and even a repair might not be financially possible). That means I need to buy a new laptop as quickly as possible, especially with Sundance now looming.

The last one I brought, this current one, I've had for four years. It was always supposed to be temporary but post-pandemic finances made replacing it financially unfeasible. Now, I must replace it - and I desperately need your help.
