Urgent Help needed for Seda family survivors

On the morning of April 21st, Margaret (mom), Audrey (daughter) and Nigel (son) Seda were all victims of a shooting in their home. The nightmare which started as a verbal argument between the father and son turned violent at which point the father pulled out a gun and shot Nigel three times in the stomach, and Audrey once in the ribs (clapping her lung, digraph and fracturing rib) and once in the stomach (impacting her internal system) and Margaret once in the buttocks and once in the arm. They were all transported to Harborview and treated for the gunshot wounds and as of the 27th everyone is in stable condition. Margaret has been released from the hospital, Audrey has had a couple of surgeries and is now stable and Nigel has had 3 surgeries and 1 more in a month and currently is on a feeding tube. This innocent family’s life is forever changed and we are all left in shock and disbelief. They must focus on their physical, emotional and mental health right now. With the criminal side of things, there is another unfathomable element to this that is adding to the stress and trauma of it all. Margaret is looking to file for divorce right away. She does have a restraining order against her husband and working with the detectives to protect themselves in anticipation of his release. As of the 27th he has not posted bail but she feels he is in the process of doing so. She is trying to heal from her own wounds, be at both her kid's bedside in the hospital, research / consult attorneys, answer detectives' questions, talk to doctors, make sure her home and her family are safe and try and be strong during all of this. If you know Margaret you know she is a sweet, gentle, kind, passive soul. Those kids are kind, hardworking, loving young humans with bright futures. Their lives are forever changed by someone they have looked at as their protector. Margaret has been overwhelmed since this happened and the financial burden is something she shouldn’t have to focus on during this time. It is very hard for the family to show so much vulnerability and ask for help but they know they need the support, love and prayers of their family, friends and community. Margaret will do her best to respond to the calls, texts, and messages but just know she is beyond overwhelmed so it is hard to reply to everyone. But she is so grateful for all of the support.
