Urgent Help Needed in Tough Times

I don’t like to ask for financial help however my family has been hit hard and we are struggling. My husband, Basil, has been seeing multiple specialists over the past seven months for CTE or premature frontal temporal dementia. It came out of nowhere and hit him and our family like a freight train.

Getting help for Basil has been an uphill battle as our healthcare system has drastically regressed and devolved. Some of the necessary testing wasn’t covered under insurance, nor was a large part of his hospital stay. He’s been out of work since May and we only received two months of disability pay from his STD/FMLA.

My family is struggling and we are in desperate need of help. Our income was unexpectedly and abruptly cut in half. We used our savings to pay medical bills, living expenses, and out of pocket expenses. We haven’t been able to pay our mortgage, we still owe about $10,000 in medical bills, and our house is falling apart. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
