Help Needed to Build a Masjid in Uganda before Ramadan 2025

The Greenland School and Orphanage Appeal in Kampala, Uganda is a well established UK registered charity that has been running for several decades.

Now, the charity are fundraising to build a masjid in the Namigavu, Busunju Town in Kampala, Uganda. There is a strong Muslim community that is constantly growing day by day and are outgrowing the current mosque facility.

£10,000 has been raised already, and now we need your help to raise £60,000. This isn't a large amount to build a mosque compared to how much it costs to build masjids in the UK. And the local people are in desperate need of a masjid to fulfil their needs.

The masjid will have have facilities for men, women, children and have an area for imaam to stay.

Here below you can see the developmental plans for how the masjid will look like once completed inshaAllah:

Here is a photo of the land where the masjid will be built in Namigavu, Busunju Town in Kampala and work has already started, alhamdulillah:

We are aiming to have this masjid built before Ramadan 2025 inshaAllah. So please share this link, donate generously and benefit yourself in the next life inshaAllah

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
