UPDATE : THE PASSING OF GABRIEL OLUWAFEMI AYENI

The family of the Ayenis is thankful and extremely grateful to everyone who have responded to our appeal through GOFUNDME within the short period of time the campaign started. It is delightful to receive such display of love, support, especially the prayers shared on the page, and of course donations to this cause.

Gabriel’s condition got worse, with infections and a lot of discomfort, and he had to be readmitted back into hospital before the new year. On the 4th of January, he sadly passed away to be with his Lord.

Gabriel left behind his 3 year old son, his wife and extended family. They truly appreciate everyone who has rallied round.

Do pray for Gabriel’s wife and 3 year son who are now dealing with demise of the one who was like a pillar and rock in their life. We also pray that the Lord will not forget you.

We recognise the intention of the GoFundMe was to give Gabriel a fighting chance which unfortunately cannot be right now. While we recognise that some of you would still like to support the family with your donation, we would like to refund anyone who desire a refund.
