It is with heavy heart I start this fundraising. I've exhausted all available solutions to evacuate my family from Gaza. the only option I have left is to start a fundraising which can help in this crisis and I'll explain why and how.
I’m Labeeb Humaid is a radiology specialist, ambitious and persevering. My family in Gaza consists of 16 members: including me my wife, my children Abood (4 years old) and Leila (2 years old), my father (65 years old), my mother (56 years old), my sisters Aseel, Saba, and Sana, my brother Shehada and Muhammad, his wife, and their two children Labeeb (5 years old) and Juman (1 year old),and my aunts Nawal and Hanan. Over the past ten years, I have worked tirelessly, dedicating myself to my family, working hard, planning, and building my career. Despite facing the challenges , I have become a well-known professional in the field of radiology in Gaza, working in many hospitals and medical clinics. I obtained a master's degree in crisis and disaster management. Unfortunately, my life turned upside down on October 7th. Since that day, I have lost thousands of innocent lives in Gaza, and many innocent people like myself have lost their jobs and only source of income, rather than Our house was also severely damaged and our car was destroyed.

My family and I left our home under continuous shelling, walking without carrying our personal belongings, winter clothes, or even our money, heading from Gaza to Zuwayda. There, we lived through the hardest days of our lives, then we moved to Rafah after the airstrikes and shelling intensified, hoping to find safety there or find a way out of Gaza to a safe place where we can dream of a future for our children. I continue my journey to bring hope to the faces of my patients, to live a happy and safe life for us and our children, to keep them away from all this pain, destruction, and siege, and to avoid the bleak future that awaits them if the situation continues as it is in Gaza. The pain we have experienced over the years, I do not seek or accept that our children suffer from it in the future.
We are currently seeking help to evacuate from Gaza to Egypt looking for a safe and healthy place. But Unfortunately, the costs are exorbitant and change dramatically and unexpectedly by the day, as Israel's grip on the south of Gaza intensifies in the coming days and weeks, the costs will continue to rise as the demand increases and the number of agents operating the evacuation routes drops.
As of late December the evacuation fee ranges between $5,000 and $7,000 per person, before processing and transport fees, and we will pay the higher end of the range because many of us do not have passports . Me and my family asking for 100,000$ based on the following breakdown: an evacuation fee at the Egyptian border of $5,000- $7,000per person as each day there is a different price for evacuation fee at the Egyptian border, plus a processing fee of $2,000 per person, $2,000 for transportation, and a 2.9% commission fee.
Any amount raised beyond the total will be used to supplement me & my family lives as refugees in Egypt.
