Urgent: Help Us Repair and Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Tax deductible
Help New Testament Outreach Recover and Continue Serving Our Community
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, New Testament Outreach is in urgent need of assistance. For years, we have been a cornerstone of support in our community, offering food, aid, and a helping hand to those in need. Now, we find ourselves needing some help too—and MoneyWise Tax Academy is stepping in to make that possible.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, MoneyWise Tax Academy is raising funds to support the recovery of New Testament Outreach. All donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of the proceeds will be used to address the urgent needs of New Testament Outreach so that they can continue serving our community during this challenging time.
How You Can Help:
Hurricane Helene caused significant damage to New Testament Outreach’s facilities, impacting their ability to continue their vital services. Our fellowship hall, where the majority of our food distribution takes place, suffered extensive water damage, and our parking lot has also been severely affected.

We are currently using the New Testament Baptist Church sanctuary as a backup, but we need to get back on our feet to fully restore our services.
Funds raised will be used for the following needs:
- Removal of Damaged Flooring in the Fellowship Hall: The water damage has left the flooring unsafe and in need of replacement.
- Debris Removal: To clear out damaged materials and restore our spaces.
- Inspection and Correction of Culverts: The culverts running under our parking lot were damaged, and we need professional inspection and repairs.
- Fill Dirt and Hauling Services: To restore our parking lot once the culverts are repaired.
- Gravel Donations: Any contribution of gravel to help stabilize and restore our parking area would be greatly appreciated.
- Monetary Donations for New Flooring: Funds will go directly towards purchasing and installing new flooring in the fellowship hall, allowing us to resume food distribution in our primary space.
- Equipment and Help for Storage Building: Assistance is needed to stabilize our compromised storage building so we can safely empty it.
- Demolition Services for the Storage Unit: Once the building is emptied, we need help to demolish the damaged structure.
This is a preliminary list of needs, and additional needs may arise as we assess the full scope of repairs.
With your support, New Testament Outreach can restore its facilities and continue providing essential support to those in need. All donations are tax-deductible through MoneyWise Tax Academy, making it easier for you to support this important cause.
We are incredibly grateful for any support—whether it's a donation, volunteering your time or services, or simply sharing this fundraiser with others. Every bit helps, and you might just connect us with the person or resource that can make a difference.
Thank you in advance for helping us recover so that we can continue to support our community. Together, we can rebuild and keep making a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
