Urgent lifesaving surgery for Hughie

Hughie is in sudden lifesaving surgery today after being attacked by a dog on Christmas Day. He has a perforated bowel, punctures in his intestines and diaphragm, the vets are currently breathing for him, he will need to be kept in intensive care in the following days after as he’s at a high risk of infection. This surgery is estimated to be $6,500 we are hoping for any help at all to put towards the payment of this surgery and aftercare. We greatly appreciate any amount no matter how small, every cent helps save Hughies life.

Update: hughie is recovering well! He’s still very sore and needs monitoring before he’s in the clear, the total cost of the procedure came to $4,900 and we’re on our way to take him home now, we thank everyone who’s donated any amount
