Urgent message from a bereaved family in Gaza Standing

Dear Friends,

I am Mohamed Mohamed, 34 years old, and I am reaching out to share the difficult situation my family and I are facing. My wife Amna, 32, and our three young children—Ahmed (8), Adam (6), and Aylool (4)—are currently enduring the severe impacts of the October 7 war.

Each day, we grapple with the overwhelming horrors and suffering brought on by this conflict. The constant fear and instability have disrupted every aspect of our lives. Our children, who should be enjoying their childhood and focusing on their education, have been deprived of these essential experiences. Their schools have been closed, and their sense of normalcy has been shattered.

We are struggling to maintain a semblance of normal life amid the chaos and uncertainty. The emotional and psychological toll on our family is immense, and the constant threat to our safety makes each day a challenge.
