Urgent Move Needed: Being Displaced by Landlord
Donation protected
My husband and I have lived in Ohio with our roommate/landlord for 3 years now. We've just been told they want to move back in with their parents and want to sell where we have been living to relieve the debt of their remaining mortgage. The current "rent" for this 2bd 2bth place is $1,300, not including bills like electricity or internet. Despite us giving them money every month to cover these expenses, they have not been paying them in full and now owe $930 to the HOA for the past three months.
Jon, my husband works full time WITH overtime. We have debts that we are working to repay still from when we moved to Ohio not to mention an active car payment that due to circumstances can't be differed or let pile up as it's a co-signed vehicle. I don't have a job and deal with debilitating anxiety, depression and bipolar and am trying to get on disability or get a job whatever comes first.
Our options are pretty limited, but we have them. The cheapest and easiest to get into is actually a mobile home.
The monthly rent for the place would be $900, including lot rent. Considering it is a 4bd 2bth, this is an incredible price. The only kicker is the initial move-in fees, as with any place. The mobile home park requires first and last month's rent, and a $450 deposit. This equals out to $2,250, not including the cost of a moving truck to get our stuff in the place.
The move in date would be the 28th of March so long as we can gather the move in funds in time.
If you can donate ANYTHING it helps. If you can SHARE it helps. Thank you!
