Urgent Move: Support a Family in Need

My kid and pets and I need to get moved out ASAP. Funds to go 100% to move in costs (first rent, deposits, Uhaul rental, etc.)

In 2022 the trailer park we have lived in for 10 years (8 years at that time) got bought out by an out of state investor who has been an absolute nightmare. Right off the bat before he even took full ownership he force me to get rid of my business that I worked 10 years to build (being disabled and frequently unable to do much of anything for days at a time this was the only job I could do as I could work since I could work when I felt able to work even if it were at odd hours). After that I had to get a lawyer and fair housing involved do to repeated harassment and illegal additions to the lease. After that he was quiet for a while until I told him our heater had stopped working, he tried to get another uncertified tenant to fix it last winter and when that failed he made no further effort to fix it until I again got a lawyer involved; in August I sent him a message asking if our heater will be fixed in time for winter, he sent a heating company to look at it and they said it would be a major fire hazard to fix even if they basically replaced everything in it. His response after that was that it would take a long time to get a new heater approved through the federal rebate program and we didnt hear back from him after that. In October it started getting could so we asked again pointing out he cant leave a family without heat all winter, his reply was that they dont make a heater that can go into this old a place (1967) and he would have to wait for one to be made. At that point I got a lawyer involved again and he gave her the same lies. After repeatedly having to threaten lawsuit and telling him that even my doctor says I cant be in this cold he finally got another company to look at it. He again said it probably couldnt be repaired because they dont make the parts for it and confirmed yes it would be a fire hazard but it was obvious this landlord had no intention of getting us a new heater and reading between the lines I got the idea that its basically because an inspection would be required, tbh there isnt a unit here that would pass any inspection as all of them have had substandard work by untrained people and are in various degrees of falling apart so yeah the landlord knows they wont pass inspection so cant legally replace a heater or anything else for that matter. After we told him we would do a class action lawsuit (all residents here are fed up with him) if he did not replace the heater he eventually got a third company out that was able to replace some of the bad parts and got the heater running but we are in constant fear of a fire. Additionally as retaliation he has started that harassment up again.

All that I have gone through with the stress of constantly having to fight this landlord combined with the mold these places have inside the walls has caused me major emotional and physical distress and has cause me to start getting a positive ANA test (Lupus) again after being negative for 14 years.

We need to get out of this place and into a clean healthy (mental and physical) environment to start our life over again as soon as possible. We can pay rent on the new place as we always have (on time every month), but to get out of here in a timely manner before my health gets any worse we really need help with first month rent, deposits, moving costs, etc. Any funds raised will go 100% for that cause, our goal is to get a place secured by February and spend that month getting everything moved over to the new place, funds are the main thing that could delay that.
