Urgent need for help with medical bills

 

 

 

Hi, my name is Barbara Becker. I've never had to ask for help before as I'm usually the one who is blessed enough to do the helping. But I'm in a position where I need to ask for help now with medical bills. This is incredibly humbling to write.

 

Prior to April 14th, I was completely healthy. (I have to word this carefully, so please read between the lines). After receiving the "V", I immediately began itching from head to toe everywhere on my body, 24/7. I was one of the unlucky one in a million.  It has been 8 months now and it hasn't stopped. I cannot sleep and its never-ending torture. It has worsened, and now every joint and bone in my body hurts so bad that I have trouble walking. I have been bedridden since this happened and in constant pain. I have been seeing doctors almost weekly since this happened, but they are unable to diagnose the condition, and because there is no research on this condition, they don't know how to treat it. The doctors have been just guessing and giving me a long list of strong medications with brutal and devastating side effects. I've seen Primary Care Doctors, Allergists, Immunologists and a Neurologist. They have all sent me away saying they don't know what to do. I'm at the end of options with treatment in Las Vegas.  And I was denied disability by the insurance company because I don't have an Objective medical diagnosis.  

 

However, through a "God Moment", I have found a doctor in California who is treating patients who have similar problems. I have already started to prepare by going on a completely antioxidant, anti-inflammatory diet of only leafy greens, vegetables, fruits and lean meats. I am doing everything the doctor tells me so that the treatment will be successful. I will have to go there and it will be cash pay, they don't accept my insurance. It will be approximately $17,000. Since I haven't been working for so long, my reserves are gone. If there is anything you can do to help, I would be incredibly grateful. Even the smallest amount I would appreciate so much. I'll be going on December 12th and if this works, I hope and pray to get my life back. I want to go back to work so bad and be healthy. I just want to live again.

Also, I want everyone to know that Roc Title has held my job for me all these months.  No other title company would have done that.  They have been so supportive and understanding.  I want to repay their kindness by going back to work for them.  If you have the opportunity, would you direct an escrow to them because they have been so very kind to me.
