Urgent need to cover underbid building expenses
Tax deductible
As you may know, we are overcrowded and building an addition to our high school. We started this process a year ago, and due to other high priority needs we had to put the process on hold. BUT, we have an unpaid debt that needs to paid.
When we received a bid for our building project, we were underbid by about $3000 for the first phase of the project. We had prepared for an underbid, but not of this size. We need to pay for the materials and labor that we received for this project. We of course want to do so as soon as possible to maintain integrity and trust with the community.
If we do not pay this debt before the end of the year (or sooner), the builders will have our staff arrested and charged with criminal offenses. Moses life is in danger due to our debt. The justice system in Uganda is different from our system, and there is a definite danger to facing imprisonment. We need your help.
I keep praying and seeking the Lord on how to handle such a multitude of needs and consistent lack. I keep hearing that HE did not bring us this far to only bring us this far. That his promises are true, and if he gave us this vision and opened all of these doors, HE will see us through. I am so incredibly humbled and grateful to be a part of this ministry and to push forward even when I cannot see the full picture of what His mighty plan is. A pastor told me last week that it is in times of great need that our testimonies of HIS goodness and HIS provisions can be made known. I am clinging to this as we face so many needs and sadly even more lack or provision.
