Cats In Crisis are urgently trying to raise funds for our vet bills. We are in excess of over $5000 and if we don’t settle our bill we cannot continue helping any other animals. Currently our rescue is at capacity and urgently need your help. Our rescue has been inundated with so many cats and kittens, some injured, very sick and abandoned cats. Cats we have taken in from people who are facing homelessness or owners who have passed.

We unfortunately had to take our beloved Sam back to the vets where it was found the cancer had spread and we let him gain his angel wings.

We have taken in cats needing eye surgery, 3 kittens found stuck in a rotten placenta covered in maggots and needing limbs amputated, cats needing many months of intensive and costly medications.

We don’t just take in the fluffy cute kittens, and we never leave the mums. We take the young, cute, old, and people may think some are not the prettiest of cats.

Although we love them, and they ALL DESERVE A CHANCE. We work educating people to desex, microchip and encourage responsible ownership. Businesses that once upon a time didn’t have good intentions towards the cats we are now working with and have reduced their numbers of cats into single digits and have them onboard working with us.

We have put a trigger warning on this post as we appreciate these photos are confronting but at the same time want to be honest about the pain and suffering some street cats endure and why we try and help where we can.
