URGENT: PLZ Help Single Mom & Kids Avoid Winter Eviction

My children and I have had a very rough year and are now dealing with an eviction during winter and the holidays. I am a single separated parent of two children. I am not receiving any help or support for them, and both are in the home.

We attempted to get rental assistance after I was unsuccessful in finding work after being falsely arrested for preaching. This arrest has caused me so much distress, and I have had an extremely difficult time finding work, even after working very hard in school on my business degree! I have been turned down for jobs where skill is not a requirement because of the false charges on my background. We filed a federal lawsuit against the city and the police department in September 2024; see Doss vs. Amherst et al.

I was approved for rental assistance, but they have not yet made a payment to my landlord! I had an agreement with my landlord to show proof that I was approved, and despite sending the proof, he still filed the eviction.

It’s too cold to be out of a home. If anyone can please donate anything at all, it will add up. Anything is very much appreciated. Prayers, support, or recommendations are very welcome.
