Urgent: Prevent Karen's Home Auction

My mom, Karen Sadler, has been missing since August 2021. During this time, my dad, her ex husband, has been maintaining her home so it didn’t go into foreclosure. Now, Whispering Hollow HOA in Buda Texas is trying to auction her home saying she owes $30k in HOA fees. They did not let her next of kin know so we were unable to prevent these fees in the first place. Her HOA knew she was a missing person & still took this to court, saying she failed to show, and got approval to put her home up for auction this April. I have no words for how defeated I feel and how evil her HOA’s actions are. My mom was an elementary school teacher, a public servant to her community. Also, my family and I have been trying to navigate grieving the disappearance of my mom and now we have to worry about legal battles and the possibility of losing her home, which we’ve worked so hard to keep. This has been devastating news. I am a full time nursing student & do not have the means to help financially. All I have to contribute is my voice right now. We are hoping to negotiate the $30k down but that also takes time & money for lawyer fees. Anything helps, even a share. Thank you so much.
