Urgent Relief: Evacuate Family from Gaza War Zone

Donation protected
Dear all,
My family lives in Gaza, a place currently embroiled in a devastating war. The ongoing relentless bombing and ground invasion have made living conditions perilous, threatening the safety and well-being of my loved ones every moment. So far more than 40 of my relatives have been killed and I hope with your assistance my family can stand a chance to live.

I was born and raised in Gaza and left in 2015 on a scholarship to purse my Master’s degree in London. I have not been able to go back to Gaza and see my family since then due to the ongoing blockade imposed on Gaza.

I am launching this campaign with the aim of raising enough funds to evacuate my family from Gaza and support those who may not be able to leave. With your generous support, I hope to secure the means necessary to move them to safety, away from war and offer them a chance to pursue better lives especially my nephews and nieces. To remain in Gaza does not only risk their lives, it also deprives them access to basic resources, education and a hopeful future.

The situation in Gaza is utterly desperate, leaving many families, including mine, in constant fear for their lives. Access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medical supplies has become increasingly scarce. The escalating violence has made Gaza unsafe place to live, especially for the vulnerable members of my family. The scale of destruction has rendered any resumption to normal life in Gaza impossible for years to come.

Your contribution will directly aid in securing border crossing fees, transportation, temporary shelter, and essential provisions for my family's safe passage out of Gaza. Of my 20 immediate family members currently in Gaza, at least 10 wish to leave as soon as possible, including my brothers
, their wives and kids, the youngest of whom is 2 years old Adam. Also my brother Muath, a recent graduate, who wishes to leave in search of a better future.
The biggest expense to secure their passage will go towards the extortionate Rafah border fee which can be as high as £7,800 per person. The following articles depict the dire picture (as of November & December 2023) of the difficulty faced by those attempting to cross the border. The fee has gone up since then.

The reminder of my family who do not wish to leave will be in need of maintenance costs and a shelter as our family house (a three story house costing about £145K funded by family lifetime savings) was bombed last week. The following articles shed some light on the scale of destruction and inflation (as high as 2000% in some cases).

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and bring us closer to ensuring the safety and well-being of those I hold most dear.

I humbly ask for your compassion, solidarity, and assistance in helping us during this time. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and networks to amplify our reach and help us reach our goal swiftly.
