Urgent RELIEF for Celo, NC residents after devastating storm

Hi everyone, my name is Kim Beller and I live in Wilmington, NC. I was visiting my daughter last week in the beautiful, small town of Celo, NC (Burnsville area) located by the Toe River. This is a very tight-knit group of people where everyone takes care of each other. This community, as well as many others in Western North Carolina, has been hit by a catastrophic storm, Hurricane Helene. The entire county is without power, internet, and has major flooding and damage to homes, roads, and vehicles. This fundraiser is to support everyone who lives there and get funds to them as soon as possible to be distributed as needed. Funds will be directly given to residents in Celo. I will personally be driving there as soon as the roads are open and safe to travel. (At this point, all roads to WNC are closed). They will have many immediate needs and this money will help them while they wait for assistance from Red Cross/FEMA. In addition, I will be taking non-perishable items to share with the community through their community center, which is very active and community-based.
