Emergency Aid for the Alladaa Family
Hello, My name is Chelsey, I live in Texas and I'm fundraising for my wonderful, deserving friend Salama Alladaa and his family of 13, extended family of 55, who is stuck in the tragic war on Gaza. Salama is only 23 and has lived his entire life in his homeland that unfortunately is being illegally occupied by a settler colony who is terrorizing the indigenous people of the land. The Israeli occupation has blockaded Palestine from the rest of the world and harmed them since the 1940’s. We are currently seeing the tightest most violent seige of Gaza in history including a forced blockade of any aid, medical supplies, fuel, electricity, everything. This is why you will see this called a genocide. Salama has lost friends, cousins, an uncle and his own mother during this year alone. Currently his area is being exterminated by the army with bombs, bullets, drones, the most violent new tech imaginable. Food is extremely scarce as it has been completely cut off since October 1, tightening their blockade saying absolutely NO aid will get to them. This forces the family to buy infested food, most recently worm ridden flour costing $100 USD. You can see their plight and trials to just survive day by day. Please see part of Salama’s story below, please donate, please pray for Palestine.
Before the war, Salama worked as a graphic designer and earned his income from the internet, but he lost his job and his project because of the war, so he faces difficulty in providing for his family's needs.
We all have a duty to help in one way or another to save Salama's family.
Thank you for your support and kindness, and may God bless you.
Please share and spread the link.
7/10/23 Salama Was Awaiting Graduation Day
From Salama: I was looking forward to my graduation day with indescribable pride, things took an unexpected turn. What was supposed to be a day full of joy and celebration turned into an unforgettable tragedy. The war cut off the path to my dreams and safety, and stole everything from me, even simple memories. I can’t hide my sadness and pain, but I still believe that hope will return one day, and happy days will come back to flood our lives again. Let us be patient and trust that God will compensate us for everything, and will make the coming days much more beautiful.
Despite Devastation and Destruction, There is Hope: When I returned to our neighborhood, I only saw destruction and rubbles filling a place that was once full of life and hope. There was nothing left, even the memories and things I had carefully preserved from my graduation ceremony had turned to ash. This tragedy is indescribable, but in the heart of all this devastation, one thing still remains: my belief that hope can’t fail. We will live to rebuild our lives and dreams, and the sun of hope will shine again. It is a difficult moment, but resilience and faith will see us overcome these difficult times.
Losing My Own Mother During the War
After all the destruction, I lost my dear mother, may she rest in peace. My mother was a candle of hope and support in my life, and her passing left a huge void that can’t be filled. I was very affected by this loss, and I feel indescribable pain, but I still strive to continue my life and achieve my dreams, under the shadow of her loving memories and warm tenderness. May God have mercy on her and inspire me with patience and strength to face this difficult test.

Where your donations will go:
I will send 100% of donations weekly via a safe account to Salama and his family for food, aid, necessities and shelter. They have been facing forced starvation in the North of Gaza as documented by The United Nations, UNICEF, UNRWA, Save the Children, and many other credible organizations. Stuck in the crisis, Salama has made aid packages for many starving families in Gaza so he is spreading the love as far as he possibly can. The Palestinians need us at this time more than ever. I hope we are able to come through for them as the situation becomes more dire due to the current illegal siege in the North. They have lost everything. We can't imagine their fear, trauma or struggle after over a year now of torture, terror, and deprivation of survival necessities. We must help how we can. I ask you to donate and quite literally save the Alladaa family’s lives.
From Salama,
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed and supported us. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us, giving us the strength to continue our lives with hope and dignity.
Here in northern Gaza, we struggle daily to access basic, healthy food such as fruits, vegetables, chicken, and meat. Our bodies are severely exhausted, and when such food becomes available, it is sold at incredibly high prices, far beyond the reach of most families. The living conditions are increasingly difficult each day, and we face enormous challenges securing even the simplest necessities of daily life. The support you have provided is truly a lifeline, helping us maintain our health and dignity during these trying times.
One of our greatest struggles is obtaining **white flour**, a basic staple we rely on for survival. Finding clean, usable flour has become nearly impossible. The flour currently available is old, full of insects and worms, and often reeks of mold. Despite filtering it repeatedly before use, its quality remains poor, and its taste is bitter and unpleasant. Yet, the price for a single 25-kilogram sack of flour is an outrageous $75, an amount that is unaffordable for us given the complete lack of income.
Here are some current prices and details for essential food items in northern Gaza, if they are available at all:
- 1 kilogram of sugar costs ≈ $30.
- 1 ounce of okra, if available, costs ≈ $28.86 (extremely rare).
- 1 kilogram of eggplant costs ≈ $33.
- 1 kilogram of cucumbers costs ≈ $34.
- 1 kilogram of onions costs ≈ $57.14.
- 1 kilogram of peppers costs ≈ $136.57.
- 1 kilogram of potatoes costs ≈ $91.43 (available in very small quantities).
- 1 kilogram of tomatoes costs ≈ $100 (available in small quantities).
- 1 kilogram of apples costs ≈ $71.43 (not available).
- 1 kilogram of tahini costs ≈ $90.
- 1 kilogram of coffee costs ≈ $89.
- 1 kilogram of fresh meat , if available, costs ≈ $145.57.
Notes:
- Nuts are not available.
- Fruits are not available.
- Chicken is not available.
Despite these heartbreaking realities, your generous support has brought a glimmer of hope. Thanks to your kindness, I was able to purchase some fortified biscuits and peanut butter, which are part of the limited aid reaching northern Gaza. These may seem small, but to us, they are precious—filling the bellies of our children and giving us just enough energy to keep moving forward.
From the depths of my heart, I thank you for your compassion and support. Your kindness is a beacon of light, providing us with the strength to endure this unimaginable hardship. In these darkest of times, your help is keeping hope alive for me and my family.
