I speak and ask for help from everyone who has a heart and humanity. My name is Nisrin, and I am a 45-year-old married woman living in Gaza. I have been enduring immense suffering since giving birth to my three children with special needs: Rawan, Elaine, and Ahmed.

Rawan is 23 years old and suffers from paralysis, brain atrophy, drooping eyes, and convulsions.

Ahmed is 19 years old and suffers from cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, and a motor disability.

Elaine is 9 years old and suffers from epilepsy and convulsions. She was born with an immature brain and is deaf; she cannot speak or hear.

Every night, my children struggle to sleep and scream in pain, making it impossible for any of us to rest. With the unprecedented and bitter war on the Gaza Strip, our suffering has increased beyond its limits. We live in constant fear and uncertainty.

Currently, we are in Khan Yunis, specifically in the Al-Amal neighbourhood. We miraculously escaped death when Israeli tanks entered and surrounded us in our fragile home. My only healthy son suffered a head injury during this ordeal. We fled our house and sought refuge in Mawasi Khan Yunis, where we now live in a tent made of torn fabrics and sheets.

Recently, a depression caused heavy rain, which destroyed our tent and left us drenched and desperate. I screamed for help, but no one came to our aid. We are now in the tenth month of this relentless war, and the summer heat is unbearable. We cannot bear to live in this tent any longer; it is impossible to find relief in these conditions.

Our home in the Al-Amal neighborhood has been destroyed, along with the entire neighborhood. As you can see in the pictures, we have lost everything. I am pleading for any help you can provide, whether it is financial support or someone willing to sponsor me and my children so we can escape this living hell.
