Urgent Relief for a Gazan Family

Hello everyone, my name is Faisal Khan and I am raising funds for the evacuation from Gaza of the family of a very dear friend, Marwa Aldous. Please read the message below in her own words regarding her family:

Dear reader,

My name is Marwa Aldous, and it is with the heaviest of hearts that I am reaching out to you today asking you to kindly help my displaced family in northern Gaza Strip. My sister, Fadwa Aldous, her four children (two girls, Noor Al-Huda and Aseel, and two boys, Ahmed and Osama), and husband, Hosam Ishtiwi, have found themselves homeless, their dreams obliterated early on after the Israeli occupation bombed their newly-built home in Tal Al-Hawa on October 20 of last year —the very home they toiled for many many years to afford and which took them five years to build, the very home they lived in for one month and a half before the occupation turned it into rubble. As we enter the ninth month of the unabating genocide, my sister and her family have tasted the bitterness of displacement nearly 10 times, moving from one place to another, under heavy fire and tank shelling and while facing unimaginable horrors each time, to simply escape death and find a semblance of safety.

They are currently displaced at a school in Al-Rimal Neighborhood after having been forced to flee their last place of refuge in Al-Zaytoun Neighborhood in the third and latest military incursion on the area. Their belongings, the little they had, were all burnt and lost. Having no income to sustain their living, and with the rapidly increasing costs of the already scarce goods and basic necessities, and amid forced starvation and debilitating conditions that continue to worsen every day, I fear very much for my family and their safety. Your funds will help my family survive and endure day-to-day, and to evacuate from Gaza to build their lives anew in the future.

Having lost 15 other members of my family on the first day of this genocide, and having been separated from my sister for 24 years and never meeting my two nephews and two nieces in person, I am asking you to help my family in these catastrophic times with the hope that I may reunite with them and embrace them one day.
