Urgent Repairs Needed for Felines & Canines

As part of my volunteer activity for my Bat Mitzvah, I am raising money for the no-kill shelter Felines & Canines.

Felines & Canines is dedicated to providing a safe and loving shelter to abandoned, injured, abused and neglected animals until their permanent adoptive home is found.

Supporting this shelter is always a great thing to do, but it's especially needed right now. Recently, they suffered a bunch of structural, plumbing and electrical catastrophes at Felines & Canines. The brutal Chicago winter caused severe roof damage and overwhelmed their HVAC system, resulting in $11,000 worth of repairs. Their original hot water heater and sump pumps gave out, causing flooding in their lower level dog kennels. The sump pumps, the water heater, and kennel flooring totals more than $24,000 in repairs. This is absolutely devastating to their program.

They have more than 125 cats and dogs counting on us to keep them safe and comfortable. Any gift you can give is really helpful to their cause.
