Urgent Roof Repair for Mrs. Brezell

She's 94-years-old, blind in one-eye, earns $12,000 per year and is in dire need of a new roof.

West-side Detroit resident Mrs. Brezell needs help immediately.

She has holes in the roof and when it rains, the water leaks into the house. Along with the rain, squirrels have gotten into the house.

Winter is coming and with snowfall on the way, anyone can imagine what type of plight Mrs. Brezell will face.

Due to her disability, she missed the window of opportunity for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

to install a brand-new roof on her home.

This happened in August 2024.

After exhausting appeals to FEMA, the government denied the requests and getting a new roof is her responsibility.

Bottom line, Mrs. Brezell cannot afford this repair on her own. Simply put, she requires assistance quickly.

E-mail and phone calls to local Detroit TV news stations to get her story out there have gone unheard.

It was the hope--by bringing attention to her situation--there may be someone or some organization which can help.

Now, we have no other choice but to ask for help publicly. And this is the purpose of this "Go Fund Me" initiative.

A new roof is approximately $7500.
