Urgent: Save my family from the depths of despair in Gaza

I met Mohammed Barhoom whilst I was volunteering with refugees in Greece. As a UK resident, I am supporting Mohammed's family to raise funds to evacuate from Gaza, because as an asylum seeker from Gaza living in Germany, he has not yet been given a tax number to be able to set up a bank account, so he isn't able to set up a Gofundme in his name.

Mohammed's family is in the midst of the Gaza conflict. They are enduring unimaginable hardship. Their once peaceful home is now devastated, and the children live in constant fear.

Mohammed is seeking refuge for his family, but they face obstacles, including high fees to leave Gaza. We're raising $100,000 (approx. £80,000) to help them escape the nightmare of war. The donations collected will be used in the following ways:

The family’s evacuation from Rafah to Egypt will cost $80,000.

The remaining amount will be used for medical treatment and the family’s basic needs of housing and food once they are evacuated to Egypt.

The money will be transferred to the family to pay for the evacuation costs etc.
