Help a Palestinian family evacuate Gaza.

Hi I’m Fadi Zakout I’m 25 years from Gaza, and I live permanently in belguim.

I started this campaign to help my friend Mohammed and his family escape the genocide in Gaza and save their lives.

Mohammed is 28 years old and he has bachelor's degree in English translation

he used to live with his family, their home used to be a beautiful place where everyone has his own space and they were together living in harmony until the war started and they were displaced to Nusairat and then displaced again to Rafah

At the moment Mohamemd and his family are living in a tent, close to the Egyptian border city Rafah, they are food insecure, lack of food and medicine, along with shortage of water and sanitary facilities that almost doesn’t exist.

 

Mohammad, with a heavy heart, returned to

the place he once called home, only to find rubble where his cherished house once stood, tears streamed on his face as he gazed upon the destruction brought by war with shaking hands every camera click echoing the loss and pain he felt deep within

The memories of laughter, love, and family gatherings scrolled his mind in reverse as he filmed the devastation, his voice quivered recounting the stories of a life torn apart by war

With aching desperation, Muhammad knew he 

needed help. He humbly reached out, asking for help to piece together their family’s situation, with shattered dreams and hopes for a better tomorrow

Mohammed is very ambitious and he’s well known for his good heart for everyone around him I wish I could see Mohammed in better situations just as his good heart deserves.

I write to you with a heart full of hope that together we can contribute to the evacuation and well being of Mohammed and his family.

• A total of €48,500

Has to be allocated to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as crossing fees at Rafah, at the Gaza-Egypt border. This amount breaks down to €5,500 per person, including his three brothers and one sister including his parents (7 persons).

The cost of travel from Cairo to Belgium is €5,000 (7 persons).

The cost for visa applications and all the costs related to reunion is a €7,000 . (€1,000 per person)

A total of 1,464€ will be used to cover GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation).

We will utilize the funds raised transparently and efficiently to ensure that each dollar contributes to their safety escaping Gaza

Even the smallest donation will have a meaningful impact on Zakout family safety.
