URGENT - Help Pay for New Subhan Masjid Property

Subhan Islamic Association (SIA) has embarked on an ambitious journey to establish a Masjid at 465 Kingston Road West in Ajax, ON. This endeavour represents our commitment to the Islamic faith and the community. The new facility will not only provide a spacer for daily five time prayers, but will also serve as a community center. Kids' classes, youth activities, seniors' programs will also be held in the new property.
The masjid property was purchased for $2,600,000. A down payment amount of $200,000 was paid at the time of signing the purchase agreement. The remaining balance of $2,400,000 needs to be paid by the closing date of Jan 31, 2024.
Be Part of this Sadaqa Jariya, and contribute towards paying the final payment installment due on January 31, 2024. If we miss the final installment due date then we will loose the down payment amount of $ 200,000.

Our Resilient Journey
In early 2020, our team, newly formed and full of enthusiasm, took over the management of the Masjid project from the previous leadership. Despite starting from scratch in the midst of the pandemic, we have successfully, by the will of Allah SWT:
- Managed monthly expenses amounting to approximately $10,000.
- Along with maintaining the Masjid we raised $200,000 for the down payment of the new property.
- Attained registered charity status with the Canadian Revenue Agency within just three months of application (effective March 2022).
Community Engagement and Achievements
Our journey has been marked by significant milestones and community engagement:
- We offer worship spaces, youth engagement programs, senior programs, and career development programs, and more within the religious context.
- Successful Events: Organized events like our annual summer picnic, attracting over 600 attendees, and Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations with over 3,000 attendees.
- Partnerships: Worked in collaboration with local Masjids, schools, charities, and other organizations for the benefit of the community and the greater Ummah.
Team Composition and Dedication
Our team, composed of dedicated volunteers including amazing community leaders, amazing muslims, doctors, engineers, business owners, and many other professionals, brings a wealth of experience and commitment. Many team members have been actively serving their communities for over a decade.

Our vision extends beyond establishing a Masjid; we aim to create a vibrant center for Islamic learning and community development. We are confident in our project's success, buoyed by the grace of Allah SWT and the unwavering support of our community.
