Urgent Support Needed for Bangladesh Flood Relief
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Farhana. Raised in NYC, but my roots are from Feni, Bangladesh.
I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a call for urgent help. Recently, devastating floods have swept across Bangladesh, leaving countless families stranded, homeless, and desperate. The scale of this disaster is overwhelming, and the need for support is immediate and profound. While my family and I can thankfully support close relatives in Bangladesh affected by the flood, there are countless families who can't say the same.
Many of us have seen the images and heard the stories—homes submerged, families displaced, and lives upended. This crisis is personal to me, and I can’t stand by without doing everything I can to help.
I’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for those who have been hit hardest by this disaster. My goal is to gather $5,000 to provide immediate relief and support to affected families.
Here’s How Your Donation Will Make a Difference:
- Rescue and Relief: I made this fund to help support people like my cousins and others who have been working day and night to provide free hot meals to villages in Feni and other affected neighboring villages. My contributions and cousin's effort can sustain for only so long, but with your contributions we can help continue providing essential food and clan water to those in dire need until more government aid come in.
- Medical Aid: We will buy essential items for at least basic medical care for illnesses due to the flood.
Every bit of support makes a difference, whether it’s $10 or $100. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of those who are struggling to find hope amidst this chaos.
Please donate and share this campaign with your friends and family. Your support can help provide a lifeline to those who need it most right now. Together, we can make a tangible difference and show that even in the darkest times, there is light and compassion.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
