Urgent Support Needed for Maria de Graaf

My name is Joan and I am writing to you today on behalf of my dear friend, Maria de Graaf, who recently suffered a stroke at the young age of 52, and in spite of her best efforts, her debilitating health has also led to the serious financial difficulties she is currently facing.

In June of 2022, Maria suffered a stroke and was unable to work for a period of time. She was not able to fully recover before returning to work in August of the same year and sadly, her health condition worsened, and she suffered a second stroke in October. This resulted in her needing to take off even more time from work. During her time out of work, Maria hadn’t received any income or financial benefits and is now desperately struggling to stay afloat.

Maria is currently back at work, but her five-month absence has led to a $5,800 deficit of rent and necessary living expenses coming due as of April 30th or she will be facing eviction from her home, among other things.

As her friend, it breaks my heart to see her go through such a difficult time. I’ve known and worked with Maria for many years and have always known her to be a kind and giving person, who unhesitatingly and unconditionally helped others in need. I pray that you’ll join me in helping my friend through this crisis. I am reaching out to all of you to ask for your help in any way that you can.
