Urgent Support Needed for The Rodgers Family

Donation protected
For those of us who are fortunate enough to know Steve Rodgers and his family, we are blessed. In times of need, they have always been there for us. Their commitment to showing up is unwavering, regardless of distance, time, or place.

Now it's our turn to rally for the Rodgers family.

On Wednesday night, June 21st Steve and his wife Jen were out to dinner when Steve suddenly looked at Jen and said he "felt dizzy." Moments later he fainted and collapsed at the restaurant. The emergency medical team was dispatched and transported Steve to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. Steve was admitted for what they initially thought was "dehydration," but soon learned it was something much bigger and our worst fear was confirmed when the results of his bloodwork discovered the irregularities.

Within a few hours, they were told the devastating and life-changing diagnosis that Steve has bladder cancer.

Steve was rushed into emergency surgery to remove a 7cm tumor from the wall of his bladder. The surgeon reported that he "Got what he came for," and removed the tumor. Next comes the wait for pathology results which will define the exact type of cancer, stage, progression, and treatment plan they are facing. While admitted to the hospital Steve and his wife Jen learned unbeknownst to them that Steve's medical insurance was inactive without prior knowledge of it.

Here is where we come in....

If you know Steve Rodgers, you know that he has been blessed with the gifts of strength and tenacity. He is the salt of the earth, and the most incredible father, devoted husband, coach, unconditionally loyal friend, and son. He has a long journey ahead of him and now is our opportunity to help support them. Steve and Jen both work full-time. As they navigate uncharted territory trying to provide the best care possible to Steve, the journey ahead is uncertain.

As Steve concentrates on the fight ahead, he is unable to work. This includes Jen potentially being out of work at times to take care of her husband and three children. Taking the financial burden off them would be an absolute relief and blessing. We ask that you please consider donating to help support the Rodgers family on this journey and the profound medical expenses they will incur while Steve focuses on healing. It's difficult to ask for things when it comes right down to it. It's an incredibly humbling experience, and they are deeply grateful for your generosity. Whether or not you can give, we are honored that you care.

**Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will be used directly towards their medical expenses, treatment plan, and potential clinical trials down the road.

The collective power of prayer is undeniable.
Please continue to pray for Steve, Jen, Gavin, Sofia, and Oliver Rodgers.

-Stay tuned for updates.

With warmth and gratitude,

Friends and Family of Steve Rodgers
