Urgent Support Needed for Tonya Medical Emergency

Hi, my name is Melanie, Zahynia and Janae and were are Tonya's daughters fundraising on her behalf.

Hello everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our mom Tonya Kelly Former Principal, Educator, Antibullying Community Advocate, a beloved member of our community who is facing an incredibly challenging time.

Since December, my mom has being dealing with a medical emergency health condition that has affected her ability to walk. We have learned she needs to undergo major colorectal surgery including neurologist and spinal treatments, urology treatments and other medical interventions/procedures to improve my mom's quality of life. Her medical condition has resulted in her losing her job she loves as a Principal at Bridge Gate Community School, with medical bills mounting, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming Empower our Youth Foundation has postpone all Empower our Youth programming and community events.

We are grateful for the skilled medical professionals who have been guiding my mom through this difficult time, we are confident that even though the road ahead is challenging, my mom is facing it with determination and a positive outlook.

My mom loves family, community and youth and she is always thinking of others even during her time of need. Our mom has touched the lives of all of us with her compassion and generosity. Now, it's our turn to rally around her and provide the support she
