Together for Topanga: Protect and Support

This GoFundMe is to support our beloved Topanga!

Use of Funds:

1.Reimburse Heat Hawks for their supply buys in during the Palisades Fires from January 7th - January 16th

2.Reimburse any large purchases on behalf of Heat Hawks (example: Starlink, generators, etc.)

3.Use remaining funds to serve as the base funding for Heat Hawks to undergo official fire training to become a Community Fire Brigade specifically for Topanga.

1. I, Sondria Wilson, am over seeing the withdrawal funds into a business bank account created specifically for the Heat Hawks organization.

2. Caroline Novit is handling all receipts and documentation, Shaina Gilstrap and Ciara Rudas are overseeing the purchasing and distribution of supplies.

3. The funds will be used for members of the affected community/direct suppliers of items via cash being evenly distributed amongst entities listed below.

4. Aid is currently being distributed to local fire fighters and people in the community of immediate needs ie., feminine supplies, clothes, food, battery packs, fire extinguishers etc. Given the nature of Gofundmes system of processing and transferring funds, the mass amount is estimated to be distributed to the entities above as well as documentation of how exaclty the funds have been spent and distributed within a 2 month time frame from the start date of January 14, 2025.

Additional Information: We intended to donate a portion of our funds to thank the Community Brigade for support their ground efforts in Topanga during the Palisades Fires, but they humbly declined and requested instead that we instead use the funds we would’ve donated to them for our Heat Hawk’s to get official training. Thank you, Community Brigade! We look up to you in many ways.
